How to solve the two biggest health and fitness problems most women face.

Do you feel overworked and underestimated? Do you have problems keeping up with diet and fitness due to the demands of life? Wondering if you will ever find time to achieve the body and health you want? This article is for you.

Put the needs of others before your own? For many women, this is an everyday reality.

It doesn't matter whether you are a high-performing professional, a mother, a carer, a partner, a worker, a daughter, a friend or all that and more.

… if you are a woman you will be asked to do a lot.

Many of us spend our days extinguishing fires, working on to-do lists, wiping little noses, keeping appointments and making sure that other people are nourished, safe and happy.

Here's the thing …

We met many women through our Precision Nutrition Coaching program. And we've learned that most of them enjoy this impossible list above – and make a living from it.

They like to face the challenge of supporting others and getting things done.

That is, until their energy runs out and they realize that they have nothing left for themselves.

And slowly, after months or years when other people came first, multitasked and this epic to-do list became controversial:

  • You are mentally and emotionally drained.
  • The time they previously invested in self-sufficiency has disappeared.
  • The clothes that used to fit felt a little (or a lot) tighter.
  • The craving for sugar and junk food seems to be much stronger.
  • The exercise classes / workouts are postponed and then canceled.
  • The bathroom mirror and the scales are avoided. (Together with the bed.)
  • The stress of the yo-yo diet starts again.

When women spend so much time caring for others and balancing all of their responsibilities, they neglect themselves.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

You can feel healthy, fit and good in your skin.

You can regain control of your schedule and your body.

You can overcome emotional food and cravings.

You can show love and appreciation to others while still taking care of yourself.

We'll show you how.

In this article you will learn:

  • The two biggest obstacles for many women when it comes to getting well and staying in shape.
  • How to overcome these obstacles to get the body and life you want.

Oh sure do you think?

Some women may find this helpful.

But my Life is different. My Body is different.

That's exactly what tens of thousands of other women thought before starting Precision Nutrition Coaching.

They also felt frustrated, lost, and confused and struggled to cope with their food, health, and body. They knew they wanted to feel better and they tried very hard, but they weren't sure how to get everything going.

They were before they started.

And so they came … after a year of simple, manageable and progressive habits. The difference is amazing. Watch this short video:

At some point, many of these women felt that they were doing it. But they discovered …

The type of change you want is possible.

No matter where you start.

No matter how you feel right now.

No matter how much stuff is on your plate.

It is possible.

Here's what women often want when they start working with us, and some ways you can get started right away.

Wish No. 1:
"Help me have a better relationship with food."

At some point in their lives, many women struggle with overeating and emotional eating. We love our wine, our chocolate, our sugar or whatever our "I deserve this" or "I need a damn break" treat is … but they don't always love us back.

As soon as the "food frenzy" subsides, we have the same stress and problems that we started with – and now we feel guilty, ashamed, and maybe even out of control.

The cycle often looks like this.

  • Feel stressed, anxious, upset, etc.
  • Too many food.
  • Feel guilty and ashamed of overeating.
  • Feel stressed, anxious, upset, etc.
  • Vows to do better.
  • Go on a new diet and / or make strict “rules”.
  • Feel stressed, anxious, upset, etc.
  • Too many food.
  • Repeat the cycle.

(Believe me, I was there.)

Solution: Exercise "break chain".

Just watch, observe and note what happened, which led to food cravings, emotional eating, overeating and / or other times when you feel "out of control" while eating and eating.

Because here is a secret:

These feelings and behaviors were no accident. They are not accidental. Something led to them.

Now you become a detective and find out all the links in the chain.

Download a printable version of our break the chain exercise, or consider the following exercise to put this exercise into practice.

1. Start with a recent episode related to eating or eating that worried you. (For example, overeating, eating foods you didn't want, feeling out of control, etc.)

2. Write down all the things that happened around you just before this episode.

For example:

  • Where were you?
  • What did you do?
  • What did you think you were doing?
  • What did you feel
  • Who was with you?

3. Now see if you can go back further.

Maybe a couple of hours. Once again:

  • Where were you?
  • What did you do?
  • What did you think you were doing?
  • What did you feel
  • Who was with you?

Try to capture as much detail as possible.

4. Now look at your data. Are there any patterns?

If you don't see any connections right away, don't worry.

Try this exercise a few times and then look for relationships between events in the days or hours before you had a serious craving for food or an emotional eating episode.

5. If you find patterns, be curious about them.

Don't worry about fixing them right away. Just pay attention to them.

"Hm, that's interesting. Every time my mother calls me, I want to drink the chocolate afterwards."

"You know, I feel good most of the month, but the week before my period starts – watch out."

"It was a long, stressful work week. Give me the wine before I stab someone."

6. You may notice solutions immediately.

"OK, I'm going to exercise after talking to mom to get some of that energy."

"I will mark my PMS days on the calendar so that I know them in advance."

"I will go home on Friday to relax."

Or you may not notice any solutions. You may feel stuck at step 5 and notice the patterns, but are not sure how to change them.

In any case, that's fine.

The most important thing is: Now you know what is happening.

Wish No. 2:
"Help me adapt to my diet, exercise or healthy lifestyle."

If you're like most women, you've probably tried at least a few things to stay in shape.

Most women tried the following before getting results with us:

  • Weight watchers
  • MyFitnessPal and other calorie counters
  • Jenny Craig and curves
  • Crossfit and other group training
  • Popular diets like paleo, juice fasting, cleansing and low carb
  • Training books and magazine articles

Of course, these options are not "bad". In the end, they work for some people.

But most people tell us they find it difficult to stay consistent. They mean well and work hard, but they struggle to stay on the right track.

This is partly because other plans do not take your life into account.

They don't offer meaningful, incremental changes that you can actually make in your real life. You know, real life with a job and kids and commuting and going to school and all that stuff. The ones that have real people.

And in part, most other plans do not offer support, care, and accountability like coaching.

Solution 1:
Blame yourself for a program … it really works.

Ideally, you want a program that:

  • Focuses on everything that suits you and on all strengths and skills that you already have.
  • Offers you proven solutions that work immediately.
  • You can adapt to your lifestyle (so that you can stay consistent and do so even when you are busy).
  • You actually enjoy it (and it's not just another task).
  • You feel positive, hopeful and receive constant support.

So how do you know if a particular program is holding you accountable?

After 15 years in the fitness industry and over 100,000 customers, we found the best:

  • Have a plan that offers both structure and flexibility.
  • The ability to customize the plan based on your skills, goals, and time available.
  • Daily reminder of which diet, exercise or lifestyle you are currently practicing.
  • Measure your progress at regular intervals.

This has helped our customers achieve the following results:

Solution 2:
Blame yourself on someone who really cares.

As we like to say here at Precision Nutrition, nothing valuable can be done alone.

Social support – whether this is a friend, a training partner, your spouse, your child, your dog, an employee who walks with you over lunch, a personal trainer in your local gym – is vital.

Don't try to do this alone.

Independence is great, but for a project like this you need a team and like-minded people to help and support you.

Social support plus responsibility and a lot of caring coaching are our specialty.

We are in this business because we want to help you feel better, look better, and perform better – regardless of your body or goals.

If you would like to participate in our next nutrition coaching program, we will be happy to help you.

If that doesn't suit you, no problem. Just find one or more people to support, guide, help, and occasionally give you the loving boot in the butt when you need it.

It is important that you hold yourself accountable to someone and get the help you need. You already have a lot on your plate; Why don't you let someone else show you the way?

Do you want help to become the fittest, strongest, healthiest version of you?
