A fun game to get active with your kids is Yoga Freeze Day! Learn how to play this game and teach your kids yoga poses on the go!
This is how it works:
- A child is "it".
- The it-child starts running to try to tag another player.
- When a player is tagged, they must take a yoga pose and hold it until another player touches them in order to free them from their frozen state.
- Once a player is marked three times, he becomes "it".
This is a great way to teach your kids some yoga poses. You can even play it indoors when the weather is bad. Children are pretty good at stretching and holding hard positions. Just teach them a new pose or two every time you play the game, and after a few times they will have a whole bunch of poses in their arsenal that they can use.
