"
Here's what to look forward to and benefit from in the coming weeks.
1. Peloton Bike +
Bike + increases the peloton experience by making strength, yoga, stretching and meditation classes more intuitive for the user experience. Bike + has a 23.8-inch HD touchscreen that rotates 180 degrees for full visibility. There is a high fidelity sound system with four speakers for an even more immersive experience. With a new Gymkit feature, you can pair your Apple Watch with just one tap. And finally, an optional auto-follow system where Bike + automatically adjusts your resistance based on your target metrics, so all of your energy and attention can be devoted to moving up the leaderboard or beating your own PR. Bike + will be available for $ 2,495 starting September 9.
2. Lower price points for Peloton Tread and Bike
If you're not interested in all of the new bells and whistles on the Bike +, the original Peloton Bike has a lower price tag of $ 1,895 and can be funded for $ 50 / month starting September 9th. Note: If you currently own the Peloton Bike if you live in the US, you can trade it in and receive $ 700 in credit for Bike +, plus the Yoga & Toning Accessory Pack and free removal of your current Peloton bike. The trade-in program will also be available on September 9th (more information can be found here).
And while there's a new (cheaper!) Peloton profile out in early 2021, those looking for instant gratification can purchase the current Tread + model for $ 4,295. Both have the control button and the speed jump buttons – a godsend for interval training.
3. Bike boot camp
To make the bike and bike + multi-dimensional, Peloton will start bike bootcamp courses on September 15th. Instructors Jess Sims, Cody Rigsby, and Robin Arzón will lead members through hybrid classes that include cardio on bikes and weight training on the floor.
